Ph.D. Research
My research examines the public's role in
environmental decision making along several miles of a particularly
hard-used landscape in and around Butte, Montana. My guiding question:
Was the public a meaningful participant in Silver Bow Creek's
environmental restoration?
This research will contribute to the ongoing
conversations within environmental communication research. At
present, my dissertation proposal has been accepted and I've begun
the long and arduous writing process.
My study is titled, "Public participation in
environmental decision making: a Pragmatic critique of environmental
problem solving in Butte, Montana."
